As a kid growing up in Far Northeast Philadelphia, I spent a lot of time at the mall. I wore clothes from Aeropostale, Gap, and even a little U-Men thanks to The Oaktree. As a teenager, Urban Outfitters felt revolutionary.
But times have changed and Philadelphia is getting recognized as a serious shopping destination — not just for clothes but for food, home goods and other items as well.
