The Wilmington Blue Rocks are bringing back one of Minor League Baseball’s more unique — and expensive — giveaways: a funeral.
The Blue Rocks are once again partnering with Brandywine Valley Funeral Care for the promotion.
The gift of a funeral will be awarded to a recipient who is nominated by a friend or loved one through the Blue Rocks website, www.bluerocks.com.
People wishing to nominate somebody for the gift are asked to submit an essay, 300 words or less, as to why the nominee deserves or needs the gift.
