The holiday season is getting closer, and that means more packages and gifts will be sent, so logistics company UPS will bolster its workforce to accommodate the anticipated deluge.
The Atlanta-based company (NYSE: UPS) is expecting to hire about more than 2,300 in the Philadelphia area on a temporary, seasonal basis in anticipation of the package volume increase from November this year through January 2017.
It's part of a nationwide hiring spree, where UPS expects to hire about 95,000 seasonal employees.
