Public Hearings Set to Discuss Future Land Use in Atlantic City's Tourism District

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority is seeking feedback on the future development of Atlantic City's boardwalk, Marina District, Gardner’s Basin and other portions of the Shore resort's Tourism District.

The CRDA has scheduled to public hearings – one at 10 a.m. Oct. 4 and the other at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 – at the Atlantic City Convention Center, according to the Press of Atlantic City, to consider proposed changes to land use regulations in the Tourism District.

The proposed changes are meant to encourage development by cutting down on the bureaucratic hoops developers current jump through to make their projects happen.
