Congressman From Pennsylvania Introduces Bill to Label American-Manufactured Products

The Republican House representative for parts of Bucks and Montgomery counties introduced a bill to Congress last week that creates a labeling system manufacturers can voluntarily use to denote which of their products are produced in an American factory.

The legislation, called the Made in America Act of 2017 and co-sponsored by U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick and Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), would establish a standardized labeling system and encourage consumers to buy products that were made in the United states, according to a news release on the bipartisan bill.
