Spice and flavoring maker McCormick & Co. is looking for new space for its corporate headquarters, and the longtime Baltimore company is reportedly getting interest from Pennsylvania. It has 2,100 employees in Baltimore spread across three locations.

State economic development officials plan to reach out to the Sparks flavorings maker following a Business Journal report Wednesday that the company is looking to consolidate its headquarters and three other northern Baltimore County offices into a single location. While McCormick CEO Alan D. Wilson said the company’s preference is to keep its headquarters and other offices nearby, he would not rule out a move to Pennsylvania.
