With their debates over, Democrat Katie McGinty and Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey are getting campaign help from U.S. senators coming in from other states.
Toomey kicked off a two-day trek across Pennsylvania on Tuesday with Republican U.S. Sens. Cory Gardner of Colorado, Thom Tillis of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. On Wednesday, McGinty will campaign with Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren in Pittsburgh and on Friday with Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown, also in Pittsburgh.
Toomey's group started at an event in northeast Philadelphia. Other stops included Lancaster and Altoona on Tuesday and Pittsburgh and Ambridge on Wednesday with Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan joining them.
