Palmer Township police and the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office are looking for Edgar Himel who police consider "armed and dangerous." He is wanted for questioning in connection to the killing of his 66-year-old wife inside their Old Orchard Drive home.
Police found the woman’s body while doing a welfare check at their Palmer Township home Sunday morning.
It appeared that Penny Van Tassel-Himel was killed several days ago, authorities said.
Himel, who stands around 5-feet, 11-inches, and has a mustache, was last seen driving a dark green 2019 Nissan Rogue with the Pennsylvania license plate GHV-0051.
Police urged anyone who spots Himel or the SUV to immediately call 911.
