Pa. Couple Fined for Neglecting Puppy's Broken Bones

A Pennsylvania couple has been fined $750 each for ignoring a puppy's broken bones and then selling it over the Internet.

Nicholas Comacho and Yared Feliciano, of Allentown, pleaded guilty Monday to animal cruelty charges. Lehigh County Humane Society officer Bill Hallahan says they failed to provide veterinary care for the injured German shepherd puppy then sold it.

Hallahan tells The Morning Call of Allentown that the buyers spent $6,000 for surgery and other medical care after finding the 4-month-old puppy unable to walk.
