Pennsylvania Appointee Bucks Corbett's Call to Step Down Amid Porn Scandal

Gov. Tom Corbett called on one of his political appointees to step down because of his involvement in the scandal over pornography in the state attorney general's office, but the appointee says no.

In a letter to Corbett, Randy Feathers said Friday he wants Attorney General Kathleen Kane to appoint an independent forensic expert to review emails her office provided to the governor s office.

Feathers says he'll consider stepping down from his $116,000-a-year seat on the the state Board of Probation and Parole if the expert concludes that he did not fulfill his professional responsibilities.

Kane's office gave Corbett's office two bound volumes of what she described as inappropriate emails linked to Feathers

Corbett's office has suggested it may seek to remove Feathers from the board.
