A young man may be brain dead following a shooting in the Olney section of the city Thursday night.
Police tell NBC10 the 20-year-old was shot in the head around 10:30 on the 5800 North American Street. They say he ran to a nearby house and collapsed on the front porch.
The victim was rushed to the hospital. Authorities say his head injury is so severe that he may be brain dead.
Police are reviewing surveillance video that may have captured the shooting.
So far, investigators have no suspects.
