A woman who was found dead inside a South Philadelphia home over the weekend has been identified.
Aimee Girard, a nurse at Jefferson Hospital, along with an unidentified man, were discovered Sunday morning inside a home on the 2400 block of S. Hutchinson Street.
Girard, 26, worked as a nurse at the hospital for the past two years, according to hospital officials.
NBC10 has repeatedly reached out to police for more details on the deaths of Girard and the unidentified man. So far they have not revealed a cause of death or the circumstances surrounding the case.
Several tipsters have claimed the unidentified man was Girard's boyfriend and that he shot and killed her before turning the gun on himself after she tried to break up with him. Police have not confirmed these reports, however.
