Passenger Falls Between SEPTA Train, Regional Rail Platform in Montgomery County

Firefighters rescued a man after he fell between a platform and SEPTA train late Wednesday in Montgomery County.

The rescue played out at the North Wales SEPTA Station along Beaver Street in North Wales, Pennsylvania around 11:30 p.m.

A man attempting to get on a Center City-bound Lansdale-Doylestown Regional Rail train somehow fell between the train and platform, said SEPTA.

Rescuers worked quickly to free the man and medics rushed the man to Abington Hospital with undisclosed injuries, said SEPTA.

SEPTA said it wasn’t clear if the man tried to board the train while it was fully stopped or still moving.
