A man died from his injuries after he was shot while driving in North Philadelphia.
The unidentified man was driving a white Ford Taurus on 26th and Toronto streets at 4:05 p.m. Monday when a gunman opened fire.
The driver was struck three times in the chest and crashed into a pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No weapon has been recovered and no arrests have been made. Police have not released a detailed description of the suspect but say he was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
