Tattooed Montgomery County Gang Member Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder

A tattooed Montgomery County man pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a gunfight with a rival gang member.

Philly.com reports that 24-year-old Devon "Cream" Vogelsang, of Pottsgrove, pleaded guilty to several charges including attempted first-degree murder. Police say Vogelsang, a member of the gang "Brothas From Anotha", got into a gunfight with a member of an opposing group inside a Lower Pottsgrove apartment in 2014.

Vogelsang was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison for his involvement in the shootout.

The Pottsgrove native has a criminal record that includes charges of aggravated assault and drug offenses. Vogelsang was arrested as part of a gang investigation led by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
