No Charges in Pa. High School Football Hazing

A prosecutor in the Philadelphia suburbs says authorities do not plan to file criminal charges in a high school football hazing case that led to the cancellation of the team's season.

Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler said Friday that his office had not received any evidence of criminality by players at Central Bucks West High School. He says police have closed their investigation.

The school district says the team engaged in "humiliating and inappropriate" pre-season rituals for rookies, including having them grab other players' genitals while fully clothed. District officials canceled the last two games of the season and suspended the coaching staff.

Head coach Brian Hensel was later fired, though he kept his teaching job.
