New Jersey Transit has buses and trains ready for those looking to get an early start on the July Fourth holiday weekend.
Early getaway service is available Thursday on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Midtown Direct, Pascack Valley and Port Jervis lines.
Buses also will be leaving early from the Port Authority terminal and from the Hudson River waterfront.
