New Jersey's property tax credits are on hold while Gov. Chris Christie and his administration work to balance the budget.
The Homestead Rebate tax credit available to senior citizens, the disabled and homeowners with incomes under $75,000 would be applied in May 2015 instead of June.
Christie says you've got to manage your cash carefully when you're running out of money.
The governor has postponed applying credits three times since taking office in 2010.
Senior citizens and disabled residents who earn under $150,000 usually receive an average of $516. Property owners earning less than $75,000 receive $402.
