Nintendo Switch Hits Shelves; Here’s Where You Can Buy One

The Nintendo Switch hits stores Friday, March 3. For those eager to get their hands on the newest console ASAP, select stores will be launching a midnight release. Here are all the go-to places.

Gaming fans rejoice! The latest console in the market, the Nintendo Switch, is set to hit stores Friday. However, considering how quickly pre-orders for the system sold out, the Switch -- priced at $299 -- is likely to sell out quickly. With this in mind, select stores will launch a midnight release for those determine to the console.

Several GameStop stores in the tri-state area will remain past Friday's midnight release on Thursday for the Nintendo Switch launch, including the GameStop location at Port Richmond. Click here to find the stores in your area that will stay open late. All stores will have a limited supply of the system, GameStop said.

24-hour Walmart Supercenters in the area will also begin selling limited supplies of the Nintendo Switches at midnight.

For those who would rather be asleep instead of waiting in line, Toys R Us will have the Nintendo Switch on their shelves Friday morning.
