AAA Mid-Atlantic Reports Slightly Lower Gas Prices in New Jersey

Motorists continue to see slightly lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state on Friday was $2.07, down 2 cents from last week. That's also much lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $2.59.

This marks the fourth straight week that pump prices have fallen in New Jersey.

The national average price on Friday was $2.25, down 3 cents from last week. But that's still much lower than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $2.76.

Analysts say fuel prices in New Jersey will likely stay stable, even though demand remains strong.
