NJ Man Uses Samurai Sword in Holland Tunnel During Road Rage Incident: Police

Police say a New Jersey man waved a samurai sword at a fellow driver while stuck in traffic at the entrance to the Holland Tunnel.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police say it happened around 2 p.m. Saturday on the north side of the tunnel in Manhattan.

Authorities say 32-year-old Richardson Rosius became enraged as cars were merging near the tunnel's entrance and pulled out a 10 1/2-inch knife.

They say he hopped out in traffic and pointed the weapon at the other driver. He was arrested when he drove out of the tunnel in New Jersey.

Officers said the knife was on his front seat.

He was arrested on a weapons charge.

It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer who could comment.
