Cherry Hill Woman Accused of Trying to Torch Ex-Boyfriend's Home

A southern New Jersey woman is accused of trying to torch a home occupied by her ex-boyfriend, their 4-year-old child and her ex-boyfriend's mother.

Police on Monday said 25-year-old Annie Ngo was pouring what appeared to be gasoline on the Pemberton Township home Saturday morning when her ex-boyfriend confronted her and she fled on foot. She was taken into custody hours later.

Authorities say the Cherry Hill woman was under a restraining order to stay away from the home.

Ngo is charged with attempted murder, attempted aggravated arson and related offenses.

She is being held in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.

It's unclear if she has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
