A New Jersey man was arrested after he allegedly set an apartment building on fire.
Artice Bryant Jr., 25, is charged with aggravated arson, creating a risk of widespread injury or damage and burglary.
Police and firefighters were called to a fire at the 900 building of the Chestnut Lane apartments in Deptford Township, New Jersey at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday. First responders evacuated residents from the building as well as adjacent buildings.
Investigators later determined the fire was an act of arson and identified Bryant, Jr. as the suspect. He was arrested and transported to the Salem County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 full cash bail.
