New A.C. Conference Center Beating Early Booking Expectations

Atlantic City's newest conference center is already beating early expectations when it comes to filling hotel room nights.

Hotel bookings for Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center, owned by Caesars Entertainment, already has 165,000 room nights on the books, far exceeding the early 30,000-40,000 room-nights projection.

About 95,000 room nights have been booked for the first 12 months of operation, and 144,000 room nights for the first 24 months of operation, according to Michael Massari, senior vice president of national meetings and events at Caesars.

Harrah's $125.8 million conference center adds about 100,000 square feet of new space, and has the ability to hold up to 5,000 attendees. The property has about 125,000 square feet of net meeting space.
