Former New Jersey Nanny Gets 7 Years for Child Endangerment

A Michigan man who worked as a nanny in New Jersey has been sentenced to seven years at a facility for sex offenders after pleading guilty to child endangerment.

Pierce Rogg was sentenced in state Superior Court Friday.

The 23-year-old Grand Rapids, Michigan resident was arrested last March and charged with improperly touching a child under 13. Rogg was employed at the time as a live-in nanny at a residence in Deptfod.

He pleaded guilty in June to second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Rogg will be incarcerated at the Adult Diagnostic Treatment Center in Avenel.
