Man Shoots and Kills Woman, Then Himself Inside Philadelphia Home, Police Say

The incident occurred inside the bedroom of a home on the 2600 block of South 67th Street at 5:23 p.m. on Wednesday

A man shot and killed a woman before taking his own life inside a Philadelphia home, according to police.

The incident occurred inside the bedroom of a home on the 2600 block of South 67th Street at 5:23 p.m. on Wednesday. Police said the unidentified man, approximately 30 years of age, shot a 32-year-old woman once in the right eye and then shot himself in the head.

The 56-year-old cousin of the woman found her and the man unresponsive in the room. Medics arrived and both the man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene at 5:28 p.m.
