The deaths of a suburban Philadelphia man and woman have been ruled a murder-suicide, authorities said.
The Montgomery County district attorney's office said 54-year-old John Gonzalez and 58-year-old Margaret Durham were found dead Monday in their Eagleville home.
Authorities said autopsies concluded that Gonzalez shot and killed Durham before turning the gun on himself.
Prosecutors said a preliminary investigation revealed that the couple were behind on their rent. A note with contact information for relatives was found at the scene.
