Mourning 3 Kids Killed by Mom in Tabernacle, NJ Home

A southern New Jersey town will say goodbye to three children killed in their home by their mother last month.

A funeral Mass for 14-year-old Nicholas Harriman, 11-year-old Alexander Harriman and 8-year-old Nadia Harriman is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. in Tabernacle, Burlington County.

Police said 44-year-old Jeannine LePage shot the three children inside the family's home on Nov. 20 before turning the gun on herself.

Authorities found Nicholas and Nadia dead at the Holly Park Drive home in Tabernacle on Nov. 20. Their brother, Alexander, died at Cooper University Hospital on Nov. 26.

Neighbors said LePage shared a bed with her children and was in financial troubles.

"They were completely broke and she said it would be easier for her and her kids to be gone," said LePage's friend, Monique Currier.

Authorities, however, have not said what may have prompted the woman to shoot her children before turning the gun on herself, saying it was a mystery that may never be solved.

Burial will be held privately.

The Mathis Funeral Home says contributions may be made in the children's memory to the LePage Harriman Memorial Fund at PNC Bank.
