A motorcyclist died in a crash on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway Saturday afternoon.
The unidentified 27-year-old man was riding a motorcycle on 17th and Ben Franklin shortly after 3 p.m. when he somehow lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the back of a truck. The man was taken to Hahnemann Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:31 p.m.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
