K-9s Search South Jersey High School After Bomb Threat

K-9s scoured an evacuated South Jersey high school after a bomb threat Thursday.

Police evacuated Middle Township High School on S Main Street in Cape May Court House, New Jersey around 10:30 a.m. after someone discovered a threatening note in a restroom, according to Middle Township Police.

No students or staff suffered harm but the building remained evacuated as a precaution.

The K-9 unit, along with local and county police, searched the building as students and staff waited outside.

Around 12:50 p.m. the all clear was given and classes resumed, according to police.

The origin of the threat remained under investigation Thursday afternoon. Anyone with information was asked to call police at 609-465-8700 or the Cape May County anonymous tip line at 609-465-2800.
