Officers stopped and approached the vehicle. Police say they learned the driver, later identified as Craig Hammond, 21, did not have a valid driver’s license. Police also say a computer check revealed the passenger, later identified as Samuel Berry, 34, was a probationer.

During a vehicle search, officers say they found a potato chip container on the floor board between the front driver and passenger seats. The can had a false bottom containing 3.3 grams of marijuana, 4 grams of crack cocaine and .825 grams of heroin, according to police.

Both Hammond and Berry were taken into custody without incident and charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of marijuana and conspiracy. Hammond was also issued two traffic citations.
