Mediterranean Restaurant Chain Opening Another Spot in Philly Suburbs

A fast-casual restaurant chain known for its Mediterranean cuisine is continuing its expansion in the Philadelphia market, with plans to open another location this year along with its first in Delaware.

Plano, Texas-based Zoës Kitchen (NYSE: ZOES), which already has 10 restaurants in the Philadelphia region including one on the Main Line and another in Cherry Hill, N.J., will open another suburban location in Newtown Square.

The 2,873-square-foot Newtown Square location at 3741 West Chester Pike is slated to open in September. The restaurant has 116 seats overall, 90 inside and 26 outside.
