Crews pulled a missing swimmer from water in Mays Landing, New Jersey.
The unidentified person was swimming in the water off Thelma Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. Monday and went under but did not surface, police said.
Several rescue crews searched for the swimmer. The Brigantine Fire Department Dive says one of its divers recovered the missing swimmer. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family," they said. [[428138353, C]]
