Man's Fingers Cut Off in South Philadelphia Stabbing

A 74-year-old man walked himself to the hospital after fingers on his right hand were cut off in an stabbing, police said.

It happened along the 1200 block of Daly Street in South Philadelphia around 6:30 Friday morning.

Police said a 58-year-old man was also stabbed. His injuries were to the leg and hand. That man was transported to Jefferson Hospital.

The 74-year-old was listed in critical condition at Methodist hospital.

Police said an arrest in the case had been made, but did not name the suspect.
