Authorities say a man was seriously injured at Lums Pond State Park Campgrounds when the gas tank of a truck he was working on fell.
New Castle County Paramedics say the man was working on the truck Tuesday evening, when the tank fell on his chest, trapping him under its weight.
Paramedics say the man was trapped for about 10 minutes until a bystander was able to free him.
The man was treated on the scene by paramedics for a chest injury and possible inhalation of the gas from the tank. He was flown to Christiana Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
Paramedics say the Delaware State Park Police are investigating the incident.
