Police said a man was killed after dodging another vehicle while crossing the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township.
Police say a vehicle nearly hit 38-year-old Richard Hernandez of Egg Harbor before he was struck by a car driven by 22-year-old Ernesha Miranda of Atlantic City around 9:30 Wednesday night.
Hernandez was taken to a hospital, where he died.
The accident remained under investigation.
