Man Shot, Killed in Cheltenham Home on Christmas Day

Police say the suspect was armed with a semiautomatic handgun

Police are searching for the person who allegedly gunned down a man in Montgomery County on Christmas Day.

Officers were called to the home on the 1400 block of Beech Avenue in the Melrose Park section of Cheltenham Township at about 2 a.m. Sunday, cops said.

Robins Borno had multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where the 25-year-old died about a half-hour later. He was visiting the home at the time of the shooting.

Police asked Monday for the public's help in finding a black man wearing an Adidas sweatshirt and dark clothes who was armed with a semiautomatic handgun. He was last seen driving a gray late model sedan that was later recovered in the Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, police said.
