Owner of Northeast Philadelphia Barbershop Shot 4 Times Inside Shop

The owner of a Northeast Philadelphia barbershop is in the hospital after he was shot four times inside his business Monday night.

The 33-year-old man was inside Castor's Finest Barbershop on the 7100 block of Castor Avenue at 8:55 p.m. Monday when at least one gunman opened fire.

The victim was struck once in the leg, once in the right arm, once in the right shoulder and was grazed in the head. He was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The barbershop was closed at the time of the shooting, according to investigators.

No arrests have been made. Police are searching for two suspects, although they have not yet released descriptions.
