Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in West Philadelphia.
It happened Saturday night in the backyard of a home on South Alden Street.
Police say a 28-year-old man was shot once in the head and multiple times in the chest and lower body. The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead at 9:48 p.m.
No word yet on any motives or suspects.
