A fight at a house party led to the fatal shooting of a man in the Logan section of the city.
Investigators say a brawl broke out during a party at a home on Old York Road and Albanus Street around 3 a.m. on Sunday. During the fight, a man grabbed two guns and opened fire, according to officials.
Police say a 39-year-old man was struck multiple times in the chest. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead around 3:30 a.m.
Investigators say they’re uncertain at this point whether the victim was involved in the fight or an innocent bystander.
A man was taken into custody in relation to the shooting. He has not been officially charged at this point however. Police also recovered the two weapons from the scene.
