A 23-year-old man is in serious condition after a shooting at a shopping center parking lot in Bear.
The News Journal of Wilmington reports Delaware State Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack says it happened around 10 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Sunset Station shopping center in the 1800 block of Pulaski Highway. Shavack says the man got into a silver car with a man and woman and then one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired at least one round.
Shavack says the man was hit in the upper body but able to get out of the vehicle, and he ran into a business in the shopping center. The vehicle fled. An investigation is ongoing. Police did not identify the man who was injured.
