Man to Face Murder Charges in Strangulation of Woman in New Jersey Park

Authorities say a man has been indicted in the strangulation death of a woman found in a weeded area of a New Jersey park last fall.

Prosecutors on Tuesday said 38-year-old Tyron Lindsay was indicted on a murder charge last week in the October 2015 death of Jessica Prusik.

Prusik was found in John A. Roebling Memorial Park in Hamilton.

Investigators say Lindsay was found with Prusik's bank cards when he was arrested.

Detectives say Lindsay was with Prusik in a truck later found in Bristol, Pennsylvania. The truck was captured on video heading toward Roebling Park the day her body was found.

Lindsay's attorney Jack Furlong says the pair got high together in the past, but that his client denies killing her.

Lindsay is jailed on $1 million bail.
