Man Gets Prison For Shooting Girlfriend's Lover

A north-central Pennsylvania man will spend 10 to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter and other charges for fatally shooting a friend he found in bed with his girlfriend.

The Bradford Era reports 28-year-old Greg Riehl, of Coudersport, was

sentenced Wednesday by a Potter County judge.

Riehl has previously pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and other charges in the April 20 shooting of 37-year-old Anthony Palmieri at Palmieri's home in Ulysses Township.

Prosecutors say Riehl and his girlfriend had drinks with Palmieri, before Riehl went outside to sleep in his truck.

The girlfriend says Palmieri let her sleep in his bed, and that Riehl became angry when he entered the residence with a flashlight in the middle of the night and shot Palmieri.
