A man was airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital with life-threatening injuries from a from a barrel explosion at a trucking company garage.
Police say the man sustained severe head and facial injuries in the explosion around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Graff Trucking in Fawn Township.
Police Chief Timothy Mayberry says the man, in his 50s, was visiting a friend who owns the trucking company.
Mayberry says it wasn't clear what was in the 55-gallon drum. A county fire marshal is investigating.
