A man, potentially squatting in a Philadelphia home, was seriously injured after setting himself on fire while getting high on drugs overnight Friday, police said.
The 29-year-old man was inside a house along the 3400 block of Reach Street in the Kensington section of the city when the incident happened.
Police were called to the scene and found the man burning and running from the boarded up home around 12:30 a.m.
The man suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to 60 body, police said.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
