State police have made an arrest in the shooting death of a man found lying in a southern New Jersey roadway last summer.
Bail was set Monday at $1 million for Hykeem Martin. The 27-year-old Buena Vista Township resident faces murder and conspiracy charges in the July 3 death of Vineland resident Vincent Williams.
Troopers found Williams when they responded to 9th Street in Buena Vista, following reports of a man lying in the roadway with suspected gunshot wounds. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, and the death was ruled a homicide.
Martin was arrested Friday at his home. A motive for the shooting has not been disclosed.
It wasn't known Monday if Martin has retained an attorney.
