Man Charged With Murder in Body in Woods Case

New Jersey State Police have made an arrest in the murder of a Trenton woman.

Police arrested and charged Terrance Patterson, 37, of Trenton with the murder of Lisa Armstrong, 47.

Patterson was taken into custody on Saturday and was charged with murder and felony murder kidnapping. Bail is set at $1 million.

A surveying crew found Armstrong's body on Oct. 8 in the woods of a rural area a short distance from Route 206 near Medford Lakes Road in Tabernacle, Burlington County, N.J. last Tuesday morning.

The crew called police who came out to investigate. According to New Jersey State Police, Armstrong -- a 47-year-old who hailed from Trenton about 25 miles away -- was shot. Police said someone dumped her body with 24 hours of it being discovered.

Patterson was lodged in Burlington County Jail in absence of bail.
