Delaware State Police say a man has been charged with attempted murder after a gas station clerk was shot during a robbery.
Officers say on July 24, a man walked into Shell gas station on Newport Gap Pike in Wilmington and asked for something in a display case.
Authorities say while the clerk was distracted, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him.
Investigators tell WDEL-FM that after they released video surveillance images, numerous tips helped them identify a suspect.
Fifty-three-year-old Raymond Colson Jr. was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder, robbery and weapons offenses.
