A man from the Philadelphia suburbs arrested after police found him in a hotel with a teenage runaway has been found dead in his prison cell.
The Times Herald reports 47-year-old Paul Corrigan was found hanging in his cell at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on Friday in an apparent suicide.
The King of Prussia man was charged with indecent assault, corruption of minors, concealing the whereabouts of a child and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Authorities alleged that Corrigan befriended the 16-year-old girl at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and became her mentor. The girl's parents reported her as a runaway to police on June 4.
Police tracked them to a hotel and arrested Corrigan a day later. He had been in prison since his arrest.
