Man Broke Into Cars in Community Where He Lived: Police

New Castle County police busted a 28-year-old man after they say he used a stolen credit card swiped from one of the cars

New Castle County Police say a credit card stolen in a car break-in helped lead them to a suspect, believed to be responsible for quite a few vehicle break-ins.

Police say Corey Graham, 28, broke into several vehicles in the Collins Park neighborhood where he lives. Officers were first called to Collins Park on March 30 after multiple residents reported their windows were shattered and personal property was taken from their cars.

One victim told officers a credit card was stolen from his car. Investigators say Graham used that stolen card at a Wawa on North Dupont Highway in New Castle. They arrested him at his home on March 31.

He is currently behind bars at the Howard Young Correctional Institute. Graham faces a long list of charges including criminal mischief, burglary and felony theft.
